Whenever we enroll for a new course or competitive exam, there are several questions in mind. Extensive research is necessary and one must clear all doubts in time.
Below are the top five important questions that will come up while enrolling for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test-2016 (MHT CET) exam with answers.
Eligibility: Who can appear for the exam?
Answer: Indian Nationals having passed SSC and HSC can appear for the exam. Minimum age of applicant should be 17 years. MHT CET is an undergraduate (UG) state level exam. The minimum percentile criterion for Open category applicants is 50% and 45% for SC/ST/OBC applicants.
Apply: How do I apply for the exam?
Answer: Applicants can directly apply through their school/college.The application forms will be made available in March, 2016. (The official website should be checked for the same)
Exam date: When will the exam be conducted?
Answer: The exam will be conducted on Thursday, 5th May 2016.
Stream/s: Which degree courses does MHT CET support?
Answer: MHT CET supports all Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses.
Paper Pattern: What is the paper pattern?
Answer: Four question papers will be chalked out as per subject namely, physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics.
Medical question paper- Chemistry (50 marks), Physics (50 marks) and Biology (100 marks).
Engineering question paper- Chemistry (50 marks), Physics (50 marks) and Mathematics (100 marks).
Pharmacy question paper- Chemistry (50 marks), Physics (50 marks) and Biology/Mathematics (100 marks).
Admit/Hall Ticket: When is admit/hall ticket issued?
Answer: The admit card will be issued on 25th April, 2016.
Results: When is the result of the exam announced?
Answer: The results will be declared on 1st June, 2016.

Hello Naresh, MHT CET is an annual exam. Although, you can most certainly reappear the next year and so on, till you achieve your desired score. Reapply from scratch. There is no set limit as to how many times you can repeat this exam. Have a great day!
